SHKS Architects renovated a Fourth Avenue storefront for the new downtown Dr. Martens location in downtown Seattle. The interior playfully combines local industrial lumber heritage while maintaining the Dr. Martens retail identity. A redesigned entry with a rolled steel awning and maximum glazing significantly enhanced the previously subtle storefront. Custom shelving provides eye catching opportunities to display merchandise.
